Luxury resort announces month-long holistic wellbeing festival
If your idea of a perfect getaway this summer includes sun, sea, and a big dose of serenity, then pack your yoga mat and head for the tropics, because Dusit Thani Maldives is launching Well-Fest. The month-long wellness event promises to be everything your mind, body, and soul has been craving.
From 1st to 30th June, the five-star island resort is inviting travelers to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Well-Fest will see Dusit Thani transformed into a haven of holistic wellbeing, with an enticing programme of experiences.
Start your day with yoga or Qigong in the garden of Devarana Wellness, a healing sanctuary shaded by coconut trees and birdsong. Then float into a guided Ocean Meditation and improve your breathwork, or dive into a sound healing session designed to calm even the busiest of minds.
Vegans can savour a host of dishes at SALA, the Maldives’ first entirely plant-based restaurant, where dining becomes a sensory journey. Executive Chef, Jan Van de Voorde, has been wowing guests with his plant-based cuisine since he took over SALA in November 2024. Guests can also join a chef-led garden tour and enjoy mindful cooking classes with fresh, local ingredients.

There are also Sustainable Living Workshops, which include zero-waste tips, family-friendly wellness games, and spa rituals infused with botanicals.
If you feel like embracing everything the festival has to offer, there’s a range of special Well-Fest Retreat Packages available for couples, families and solo travellers – complete with soothing treatments, curated activities, and thoughtful wellness perks.
Area General Manager of Dusit Hotels & Resorts Maldives, Jean-Louis Ripoche, said: “Well-Fest is our invitation to guests to pause, reconnect, and embrace wellness in its many forms — all within the natural beauty and serenity of our island.
“From the healing garden of Devarana Wellness to the crystal-clear waters of our coral-rich reef, every corner of our resort is a sanctuary for self-care”.
