Guests are invited to book now to save later
Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives has had so much demand from Chinese travellers for Lunar New Year holidays that the resort has created a special offer that extends until the end of May. So, anyone who was unable to secure a villa at the boutique island resort for Lunar New Year is being invited to book now and carry the spirit of the festival to a later getaway. The special offer includes 30% off villas at Grand Park Kodhipparu.
The resort, which is located in North Male’ Atoll, reports it reached high occupancy and limited villa availability during the peak festive period this month. A spokesperson says this reflects a growing appetite among Chinese travellers for experience-led luxury shaped by meaning, intention and connection, rather than merely celebration. “In the Year of the Fire Horse, traditionally associated with passion, confidence and bold new journeys, many couples are inspired to look ahead—considering shared experiences and future travel plans that reflect their aspirations together,” she added.
That’s why Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives decided to embrace the spirit of the season with the launch of a special offer of 30% off all villas. It’s called ‘The Lunar Retreat: New Moon, New Memories’ and is available via direct booking on the resort’s official website only until the end of February 24th. The offer applies to stays through to the end of May 2026.
Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives’ general manager, Raffaele Solferino, said: “We are delighted to see such strong interest from our Chinese guests during Chinese New Year.
“While availability during the festive period itself is limited, The Lunar Retreat allows couples to carry the meaning of the season forward—turning new intentions into new memories, at a time that feels unhurried and deeply personal.”
The special offer includes 15% off dining at any of the resort’s restaurants and applies to holidays taking place between now and 31st May. You must first sign up here to Park Rewards loyalty programme to access the offer.
