Luxury resort set to host unique meet-and-greet followed by dining experiences
German Chef of the Year 2025, Benjamin Peifer, is offering epicureans a unique opportunity at Kandolhu Maldives in December. Guests will be able to meet the renowned chef at the luxury resort in North Ari Atoll, then enjoy a four-course dinner, or a five-course meal paired with wines.
Chef Benjamin, who owns the Michelin two-star restaurant, Intense, in Rhineland-Palatinate, is known for deconstructing regional tastes into their core components and reimagining them, resulting in dishes that are both comforting and excitingly new. He opened Intense in 2017 in partnership with his wife, Bettina, who is also the restaurant’s maître d’ and sommelier.

In keeping with Chef Benjamin’s ‘no menu, trust the chef’ philosophy, Kandolhu Maldives guests are invited to embrace the spontaneity of these special culinary journeys by choosing either of the two events without previewing a menu.
The first dining event will take place on Boxing Day (Saturday, December 26), while the wine and dine experience will take place on Tuesday, December 29. Both events will begin with a personal meet-and-greet with Chef Benjamin.

Guests are encouraged to secure a reservation early, as limited tables will be available and demand for them is anticipated to be high. For more information, contact Kandolhu Maldives.
